Overview
On May 17, 2022 the Media to Movements Content Meetup brought together 26 creatives to source content useful for MTM practitioners. Candace Mackie from TWR Motion shared ways she and her team have found most useful in supporting MTM teams with their creative skills. We were able to interview a field worker who wants to get an MTM project set up but doesn’t have much social media expertise. Also, Keegan introduced the Campfire Creatives‘ Discord server where we can better get to know one another and share about our needs.
If you wish to catch up with previous executive summaries, see 2021 (Nov, Aug, May) 2022 (Feb).

Presenter Notes:
- Tip #1: Learn the MTM Strategy! To make content for MTM teams, we need to understand their goals, what they are trying to accomplish, how media is being used differently from broadcast or traditional media efforts and how that impacts the type of content we should be producing for these teams
- Tip #2: Listen to the Field. Connect with people who are already involved in MTM strategies on the field and understand what has worked for them, their challenges, needs, and where your skills meet those needs.
- Tip #3: Think like a marketer. What is the journey we want spiritual seekers to go on? How can media be used throughout the journey? What makes good ad content? What is the place of longer-form content? What should storytelling look like? And think holistically as a campaign rather than a one-off video.
- Tip #4: Try! And try again! MTM teams aren’t usually content creators, so it may take some trial and error to see what works. Learn and iterate – then share your experiences! Finally, pray and let the Lord lead you.
